Leaving Squamish, you’ll drive by Garibaldi Provincial Park. With Whistler being less than an hour's drive away, consider stopping and checking out the various trailheads in this park that take you on hikes to breathtaking pristine lakes and mountain vistas.

Whistler is the ultimate destination for the leisure traveller and the adventure seeker. Cruise the pedestrian-only village, go on a mountain adventure or pamper yourself at one of the many luxurious spas. Insider secret – the breakfast at Riverside Resort Park is delicious!

Whistler Village is home to Whistler Blackcomb, one of North America’s largest ski resorts and a world-class downhill mountain-biking destination in the summer. If adventure isn’t your thing, you can still take in the mountain views on a visitor pass on the famous Peak-2-Peak Gondola that connects Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

For those desiring to explore a little further, consider taking a day trip to Joffre Lakes Provincial Park. These glacier-fed lakes are a local favourite and are accessible by an intermediate hike. This magical oasis is just a 30-minute drive beyond Pemberton.

There are several campground options including provincial parks and private venues in and around Pemberton.. It’s strongly advised you scope these out and book before heading on your trip.
