Each year, an average of 750cm of Okanagan Champagne Powder falls on the resort – light, fluffy snow that makes for amazing powder days and is responsible for the world-famous snow ghosts that dot the alpine. Big White is home to Canada’s largest totally ski-in, ski-out village, meaning you can strap on your planks and glide straight from your accommodation onto the slopes – and, when the day is done, glide right back to your doorstep!

Not a skier? No worries! The Adventure Centre in Happy Valley is loaded with non-skiing activities. Rent a pair of skates and take a few laps on Canada’s Highest Elevation Skating Rink, jingle through the woods on an old-fashioned horse-drawn sleigh, challenge yourself to make it to the top of the 60 foot ice climbing tower, snowmobile, tube, dog sled and more!
